Police are still investigating the cause of the collision. There are no known witnesses.
Both drivers were transported to hospitals. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.

Eastbound traffic on 11th Street and westbound traffic on Memorial were down to one lane and the other lanes were closed for more than four hours.
By 9 a.m., all lanes were reopened.
