Apartment Fire Displaces Two Families Near Downtown Tulsa

Two apartments at the Trenton Colonial Apartments at were damaged by fire early Friday morning.

Officers were called to a mattress fire about 1 a.m. in the 1400 block of South Trenton Avenue.

One resident was checked out by firefighters and paramedics for smoke inhalation.

The Red Cross was called to assist the two families displaced.

The fire marshal is investigating the cause.

Officials said the two bottom-floor apartments had significant fire damage.
