A Tulsa man was arrested late Monday on two complaints of child stealing.

Jail records state the ex-girlfriend of Cody Panther, 29, told Tulsa Police he had taken her two children following an argument earlier in the day and was demanding money for their return.

Police say Panther had texted his ex-girlfriend saying "he would not bring the kids back without her paying him $100."

Officers located Panther and the two children at an apartment in the 4100 block of South 130th East Avenue.

Panther was booked into the Tulsa County jail with a $50,000 bond. Records show he is scheduled for a June 18, 2013 court appearance.
