Anyone who's visited Tulsa's Brady Arts District recently knows it's on a roll with arts, dining, music and recreational opportunities. Now a two-day festival will get the word out to music lovers everywhere - it's true, Tulsa really is the Center of the Universe.
The Center of the Universe Festival set for July 19-20 will bring 70 bands to two outdoor stages as well as several other venues in popular Brady District bars and clubs.
Tulsa's own Ryan Tedder and One Republic are headlining the event. Other groups include Neon Trees, Mayer Hawthorne, and Mutemath.

The non-profit group behind the event is looking for help. Volunteers get to attend the VIP Preview Party on July 18th and get all the food, Red Bull, water and light beer they have time to find in the volunteer tent at the festival.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Brady Arts District Business Association to help expand the downtown trolley that only runs on weekends now.
