Five-Hour North Tulsa Standoff Ends With Arrest

A North Tulsa standoff ended almost five hours after it began late Thursday.

Jerimiah Seals, 24, is in the Tulsa County jail, booked on complaints of child endangerment, eluding, driving with no license and resisting arrest.

Tulsa Police first tried to pull Seals over at Admiral and Peoria just after 6:30 p.m., but he sped away. Officers say there were several children and a woman in the car at the time.

Police say he drove to a home on North Winston and ran inside. Others in the home ran outside while Seals barricaded himself inside.

Shortly before 11 p.m. Seals walked out of the home and was arrested. He remains in jail on an $80,000 bond with a court appearance set for June 14, 2013.
