The Rose District is getting a facelift. The project to revitalize the area in downtown Broken Arrow kicked off Wednesday.
The $3.7 million streetscaping project will do a lot that residents are sure to notice.
"The sidewalks will be wider, there will be lots of landscaping, benches, new lighting. It'll just be a place people want to come and stroll around," said Chamber of Commerce President Wes Smithwick.
The plans also call for narrowing the road from four lanes to three. And a former Tulsa restaurant is moving to Main Street, Broken Arrow. There are plans to open the Bruhouse Bar and Grill there in about a month.
