The possibility of severe weather is in the forecast again. It's the last thing Oklahomans want to hear, but storms are expected each day and include the threat for hail, high winds and tornadoes.
"Now is the time to prepare once again for this threat," said News On 6 meteorologist Mike Grogan. "We may be seasoned Tornado Alley residents, but when the threat isn't always in your backyard, it's easy to let our guard down. Instead, we should be mindful of the continued potential for dangerous weather and not hesitate to take action when a warning is issued for your location."
In his weather blog, Grogan describes some of the factors that may lead to a very active weather streak in the days ahead: instability, wind shear and lift.

The storms are expected to form west of I-35 Wednesday afternoon and move into the Tulsa area between 7 p.m. and midnight.
