Students at Tulsa's Eisenhower International School were digging for history Tuesday.
Fifteen years ago, a time capsule was buried near the playground. It was supposed to be dug up 20 years later, but with the school moving to a new building next year, teachers decided to start looking now.
The only problem? A lot's changed in 15 years.
"We buried it by a pole, initially, and the pole has been removed since then. So now we have no clue. We have a vicinity, but the metal detector has not been able to find it,' said teacher Michelle Barnes.
The school hoped to invite the students who buried the time capsule back once it was unearthed.
Barnes said, short of digging up the whole playground, they're not sure what to do next.
