Since Weight Watchers started in 1963, healthy snacking has always played an important role in losing weight and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, because it can help stave off hunger and make you feel more in control.
In honor of the 50th anniversary, here are some classic snacks from throughout the decades that continue to be favorites today, as well as some new snack staples for the 21st Century.
The Classics Revisited:
Stuffed Celery Redux
Spread 2 tablespoons fat-free cream cheese into 4 celery sticks and dot with 1 tablespoon dried cranberries. Points Plus Value: 2
Chili Popcorn
Sprinkle 3 cups air popped popcorn with chili powder and garlic powder. PPV: 2
