As of Tuesday afternoon, the Tulsa Health Department said it had tested about 1,200 of Dr. Scott Harrington's dental patients.

They suspect about 7,000 patients may have been exposed to HIV or hepatitis at his office.

For the first time in the three days of testing, there weren't any lines outside the building, Tuesday. As of 4 p.m., the health department said 216 patients were screened.

The health department said it will continue to test patients from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. on weekdays, for as long as needed, at the North Regional Health and Wellness Center, at 5635 North Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

Patients of Harrington's, who think they may have been exposed, can call 918-595-4500 to talk with a health worker about their concerns. So far, more than 1,500 people have called that hotline, the health department reports.

The Oklahoma Board of Dentistry is also asking anyone who has had a bad experience at Harrington's office to go online and file a complaint.
