Rogers County Deputies Arrest 2 Adults After Child Ingests Medication

Rogers County deputies arrested a man and woman Friday afternoon, after a small child wound up in the hospital after ingesting some medicine.

The Rogers County Sheriff's Office says the child was flown to a Tulsa hospital. They didn't offer any details about the child's age or what the medication was.

Two adults, Joshua LaPlant and Dawna Heath ,were arrested on suspicion of child endangerment.

Sheriff Scott Walton said LaPlant struggled with the deputies as they took him into custody.
