First Baby Bison Of The Season Born On Pawhuska Preserve

New life is showing up on the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve in Pawhuska.

The first baby bison of the season was spotted this week, alongside its mother.

Last spring, 674 bison calves were born on the preserve and workers expect around that same number this spring.

More than 2,000 adult bison roam the preserve.
