Police Identify Man Killed In Midtown Tulsa Shooting

Tulsa police are investigating a fatal shooting in the 1400 block of East Reading Friday night.

Sergeant Steve Stoltz said they were called around 8:15 p.m. for a disturbance at the residence. While they were on their way, a call of shots fired came from the same address.

When they arrived, the sergeant said officers found a 48-year-old man dead in the front yard of the apartment building, with three to five gunshot wounds to the chest.

On Thursday, police identified the victim as Calvin Anderson.

A woman inside the residence was taken into custody. She has been identified as Erica Lashon Harrison, 32.

According to Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker, Anderson had been socializing in the parking lot when Harrison approached him and shot him several times.

Walker said Anderson had been friends with Harrison's family in the past, and the motive for the shooting is still under investigation.

Harrison was arrested on a complaint of first degree murder in the 18th Tulsa homicide this year. She also had some outstanding traffic violations.

 Police said they recovered a handgun from the residence.
