Last week, a record was caught in Grand Lake just days after the Bassmaster Classic.
It was big 12 pounds, 3 ounces, but on Wednesday, a new state-record bass was caught.
Dale Miller from Panama caught a near 15-pounder at Cedar Lake.
It weighed in at 14 pounds, 13.7 ounces.
Miller said he bought his fishing license last month.
