Some area students got to stick it to their principal after they read a lot of books.
On Monday afternoon, the principal and superintendent at Bixby's Central Elementary let students duct tape them to the wall of the gym. It's a reward for the students meeting their Read Across America goals.
For each goal they met they got one piece of tape to help tape them to the wall.
The school has done all kinds of things to encourage reading, including the principals and teachers dying their hair green.
