Annual Heroes Banquet Honors Tulsa Police

Tulsa police honored their own on Saturday night.

At the seventh annual Tulsa Heroes awards, the department handed out 22 medals of valor -- the most it has ever awarded.

"It's just very rewarding to pay back to the department and the community with the hard work of the officers," TPD Capt. Laurel Ledbetter said.

The department also recognized officers with dozens of commendations and other honors.
