Fishing Fans Can Help Green Country Charities At Bassmaster Classic

The Bassmaster Classic is making a difference in northeast Oklahoma, and even people who may not be fishing fans could feel the impact.

The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma is collecting non-perishable food items at Tulsa Convention Center.

The food bank partners with organizations all across eastern Oklahoma to provide food for those in need.

News On 6 is a proud sponsor of the food bank's "Food For Kids" program, so we hope if you're headed downtown to enjoy the fun, you bring along canned food donations.

Also, the Bassmaster Classic has teamed up with the Folds of Honor program.

You can drop off donations at a booth at the convention center or at the BOK Center.

Folds of Honor provides scholarships and other types of assistance to military families who've had a loved one either killed or injured while serving.
