The economic boost for Green Country will be significant with officials expecting more than $25 million to be sent in the state this weekend.
The fisherman who wins this event will be taking home $500,000.
In addition to the actual event on Grand Lake, there is a fishing expo at the Tulsa Convention Center this weekend and it's all free.
Each afternoon there will be a weigh-in at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa after they're done catching fish for the day. Doors will open at 3 p.m.
And if you don't want to fight parking downtown, there are several shuttles you can take, from as far away as Bass Pro Shops in Broken Arrow.
