Tulsa International Airport Passengers Advised To Check Flight Status

The Tulsa International Airport advised travelers Wednesday morning to check their flight status before heading to the airport due to the inclement weather.

A check of departures and arrivals at Tulsa International at 10 a.m. on February 20, 2013 showed a number of delays.

Airport officials said snowy weather is a factor. The airport is using its shorter east-west runway because the main north-south runway is closed for construction.

The airlines are required by the FAA to de-ice the planes before they can take off.
