Tulsa Deputies Find Knife In Cell Belonging To Accused Murderer

A man in jail awaiting trial for the death of a 45-year-old Tulsa woman is in more trouble.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office said a search of Brandon Maxwell's cell turned up a homemade knife.

Maxwell is already charged with second-degree murder.

Prosecutors say he ran over and killed Avonna Olsen last year while she was trying to stop him from stealing her minivan.

Maxwell's murder trial is set to begin in April.
