An Owasso man was arrested Tuesday after investigators say they were able to download child pornography from his IP address, using file sharing software.
Investigators were able to trace the IP address to the Owasso residence of Adolphius "Jamon" Webster, 31. Webster was arrested and booked on complaints of distribution of child porn and violation of the Computer Crimes Act.
According to the arrest report, Webster admitted to police that he had viewed the images. Police say Webster said he was aware of the file sharing software a Lieutenant from the Internet Crimes Against Children task force used to download the illegal images from him, but said he wasn't aware he was sharing the files.
Webster is being held in the Tulsa County jail in lieu of $10,500 bond.
The task force arrested three other Green Country men for sharing child pornography.
James Johnson was also arrested at his home in Owasso. Michael Gomez was busted in Coweta, and Stephen Hacker, in Okmulgee.
Task force agents say they found evidence at each of their homes.
They also served search warrants at three Tulsa homes, but those cases are still under investigation.
