Robbers Strike Two Tulsa Motels, No Injuries Reported

Tulsa Police are investigating a pair of motel robberies late Monday and early Tuesday.

Tulsa Police are investigating a two motel robberies, one Monday night and one early Tuesday.

The first incident involved a robber with a handgun. Police say it happened at the Days Inn near I-244 and Sheridan at about 10:30 p.m.

Officers say a man entered the motel's lobby, acted like he was going to check in, then showed a gun to the clerk at the counter and demanded cash. After getting the cash, he ran out the front doors.

The clerk wasn't injured. Witnesses tell police he left in a red 4-door car.

In the other incident, a man met a woman and the woman got a motel room at the Rest Inn in the 7400 block of East Admiral. 

The man told Police there was a knock on the door at 3:45 a.m. The woman answered and three white males went inside and robbed the man.

Officers say the three men and the women left. The man was not injured.  

Police did not have any description on the robbers other than all were white.

Tulsa Police don't believe the two robberies were related.
