Kauri Black scored a career-high 14 points to lead four players in double figures for Tulsa, but the Golden Hurricane fell 94-64 at Memphis Saturday afternoon at the FedEx Forum.
Scottie Haralson made three 3-pointers and scored 13 points with five rebounds for the Golden Hurricane (12-10, 4-4 C-USA). Pat Swilling Jr. also hit three 3-balls and tallied 11 points, while Rashad Ray added 10 points. Shaquille Harrison scored eight points with three assists and two steals.
D.J. Stephens had a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds while adding five blocks to lead the Tigers (18-3, 7-0 C-USA). Antonio Barton led Memphis with 16 points, and Chris Crawford added 12 points.
The Hurricane shot 34 percent from the field and made 7-of-15 3-pointers to shoot 47 percent from distance. Memphis shot 48.5 percent from the field, held a 45-33 rebounding advantage, and finished with 12 blocks.
TU freshman D'Andre Wright, seeing his first action since Dec. 22 at Oral Roberts due to an injury, and had three blocks, three rebounds and two points in 11 minutes.
The Golden Hurricane returns home Wednesday to host UAB at 7 p.m.
