Work begins Monday on a busy Tulsa intersection.
City crews are giving 11th Street and Yale a Route 66 makeover.
The project includes Route 66 shields in the pavement, brick paver sidewalks, a centennial clock and plaques commemorating Route 66 history.
One lane in each direction will be closed during construction, which should be finished in September.
Bond money and funds from Vision 2025 are paying for the nearly $3 million project.
