Nearly a dozen teens from Brazil are in Tulsa, learning about good ol' Oklahoma generosity.
The students are taking special classes at Booker T. Washington High School.
They're focusing on community involvement and volunteering. That's what brought them to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma Thursday.
Isadora Giachin, 17, says this has been an amazing trip and she's learning a lot.
"I'm loving this state, because there are so many different things here and I'm learning a lot about the American culture," she said.
Back in Brazil, Isadora created a special program to teach children to speak English in her hometown.
But, she says, here there are so many other opportunities for people to get involved and help others.
