Detectives Seek Man Wanted For Assault In Connection With Quadruple Murder

Police said Joseph L. Tillmon, 33, is not a suspect in the crime, but homicide detectives are hoping to talk to him.

Investigators have identified a wanted man in connection with the murder of four women at Fairmont Terrace Apartments Monday.

Police said Joseph L. Tillmon, 33, is not a suspect in the crime, but homicide detectives are hoping to talk to him and said he knows one of the victims.

Tillmon is wanted out of Tulsa County for domestic assault and battery, with a $1,500 bond, police said.

Police said he is known to hang around the area of 61st and Peoria Avenue, near the apartments where Rebeika Powell, 23; Kayetie Powell-Melchor, 23; Misty Nunley, 33, and Julie Jackson, 55, were found shot dead inside an apartment.

Anyone with information on Tillmon is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
