Tulsa Police ID Man Found Dead Thursday

Tulsa Police have identified a man found dead next to a strip mall in the 4200 block of Southwest Boulevard Thursday morning.

He is 56-year-old Freeman Roe Arkeketa, Jr.

Police got a 911 call after someone found Arkeketa's body in a crawl space at the mall.

His body has been turned over to the state Medical Examiner's Office to determine how he died.

A check with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections shows Arkeketa was released from prison in September 2011 after serving time out of Tulsa County on a assault with a dangerous weapon conviction.

Arkeketa also served prison time for first degree manslaughter and forcible sodomy.
