The Oklahoma Highway Patrol pitched in to make the holiday season brighter for sick or injured kids in the Tulsa area on Monday.

OHP troopers gathered three large trash bags full of brand new teddy bears.

The bears were handed off to Santa so the big guy could make some very special deliveries at hospitals all across Tulsa Monday.

"I think it means a lot to the kids. I know it means a lot to us and the community as well. Some children, this may be the only Christmas they get," said Santa.

Santa made sure every sick and injured child received a bear Monday.
