Sand Springs Job Fair To Aid Military Veterans

The Oklahoma National Guard is hosting a special career fair on Saturday.

More than 20 employers will be at the Sand Springs Armed Forces Reserve Center ready to hire immediately.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. and several companies will make presentations about job opportunities starting at 10 a.m.

The career fair is being put on by the Guard's Employment Coordination Program, which was created earlier this year to help cut down on the unemployment rates among soldiers and airmen returning from war.
