ORU Men Advances In Great Alaska Shootout

The Oral Roberts Men's basketball team earned a hard-fought win Thursday night in the opening round of the Great Alaska Shootout, downing Loyola-Marymount 75-66.

Senior guard Warren Niles led the way for ORU with 33 points; his highest scoring output since his freshman season. Damen Bell-Holter led the Golden Eagles' effort on the glass, gobbling up 13 rebounds.

Anthony Ireland led the way for Loyola, scoring 30 points on 11-21 shooting.

ORU will play the winner of Charlotte and Texas State Friday night.
