Students from across the state tested their skills building robots and solving everyday problems for senior citizens on Saturday.
Three hundred kids took part in the Lego league competition in Tulsa. The theme was helping seniors stay productive.
Teams researched a problem, came up with a real solution, and then presented it to a panel of judges.
They also got hands-on learning by building and programming Lego robots.
The Tulsa engineering academy put on the event to promote robotics and math to younger students.
