Tulsa Fire says firefighters were dispatched to the duplex in the 2300 block of West Reading Street at about 6 a.m. When they arrived, flames were coming from one side of the duplex.
The residents in the other duplex were able to get out. Fire officials say they tried to get the woman out of the first unit but were unable to do so.

Firefighters estimate $50,000 in damage to the duplex's kitchen and garage.
The connecting duplex sustained smoke damage.
