Starting Monday, the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Muskogee will offer free valet parking for veterans.

In a news release, the VA says veterans who wish to use the service should drive their vehicle to the main entrance doors and hand their keys over to a valet attendant who will give them a numbered ticked and park their vehicle. When the veteran is ready to leave the medical center, they return to the main entrance and show the ticket to the valet attendant, who will then retrieve their vehicle.

"I am extremely pleased to offer this new service for our veterans," said Bryan C. Matthews, associate medical center director. "This will set the tone for their entire visit."

Liberty Management Services based out of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, will manage the service.

The company is owned by Jamie Narramore, a service disabled, veteran-owned small businessman.

"As a veteran myself, I realize the importance of this service to the VA and, more importantly, our veterans," said Jamie Narramore.

The free service is available on a first come, first served basis from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday,
