A tow truck operator found two grams of methamphetamine concealed in a Broken Arrow man's keychain. Leonard Dewaine White, 66, is in Tulsa County Jail on a complaint of possession of a controlled substance - third or more offense.
Oklahoma Department of Corrections web site shows a history of drug and other convictions dating back to 2000.
Broken Arrow Police stopped White's vehicle Thursday at 200 West Ithica for traffic violations including expired tag and failure to stay in proper lane. They learned his license had been revoked and took the man into custody.
A Storey Wrecker employee called the police at 2 a.m. November 2 to say they found two bags of white powder hidden in the man's keychain. The substance tested positive for methamphetamine, and White was re-arrested Saturday morning.
White told police he is a routine meth user who eats the drug, according to a police report. He has previously been convicted of drug possession in Tulsa County, Osage County and Rogers County.
