A former Tulsa lawmaker helped raise the wall on the city's newest Habitat for Humanity home Tuesday.

Retired Oklahoma State Senator Tom Adelson donated the last of his campaign funds to help build this home in the 1000 block of East Haskell Street.

The $55,000 he gave paid for about 90 percent of what Habitat needs to get a needy family into a new home.

"They're going to transform a neighborhood right here in the center of Tulsa, and I just feel privileged to be a small part of it," Adelson said.

The Tuesday Morning Miracle Workers were there to help, as well.

This is 200th Habitat home they've worked on.
