Movie buffs will have even more chances to catch a flick at the Admiral Twin this year.
The drive-in reopened this summer after it was destroyed by fire in September 2010. Owners have announced their decision to extend the drive-in's season.
The iconic theater has shut down around Halloween in years past, but with the warmer weather and recent spike in attendance co-owner Blake Smith said they'll keep the gates open as long as possible.
"Now we're a little more in the public's eye, and so far people are coming out more than they had in September in years past," Smith said. "It's just gonna be a combination of weather and business."
The added revenue will go to the continued renovation of the drive-in.
Next weekend's movies are Finding Nemo and the The Odd Life of Timothy Green.
