A Tulsa charity is planning unique art show to benefit women who want to change their lives for the better.

Resonance is an organization that gives women an alternative to prison and helps them learn the skills they need to succeed in life.

Their theme is helping women "Stacked Deck" and that is the inspiration behind an upcoming event in downtown Tulsa.

Fifty-two artists each got one card from the deck to design any way they want.

Each piece of artwork will be for sale at the event and the proceeds will go to helping Resonance.

"We work with women. As an alternative to prison, they can come through our program. Sadly, Oklahoma is ranked number one in the world for women that are incarcerated," said Resonance Executive Director Deidra Kirtley.

There will be three events September 26-28, all held in the Blue Dome District. Click here for details.
