Missouri Woman Dies In Creek Turnpike Crash

A Missouri woman died after her SUV rolled over as she tried to merge into traffic on the Turner Turnpike from the Creek Turnpike near Sapulpa.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 45-year-old Roseanne Parks of Goodman, Missouri was westbound on the Creek at about 11 p.m. when she lost control of her SUV on the ramp to the Turner Turnpike.

According to the trooper's report, the 1999 Ford Explorer ran off the left side of the road and rolled over two and a half times, coming to rest on its top.

Parks was pronounced dead at the scene.

The OHP says the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

No other vehicles were involved.
