Golden Eagles Playing In University Plaza Volleyball Invitational

The Oral Roberts volleyball team won its second game of the University Plaza Invitational in Springfield, Mo. Friday afternoon. The Golden Eagles downed University of Arkansas-Little Rock in five sets (20-25, -19, -22, 20-25, 15-6).

ORU dropped their first game of the tournament last night, dropping a five-set match to Missouri State.

Against UALR, Sheina Fernandes led the GOlden Eagles with 17 kills, while Tatum Fredeen added 12.

Defensively, the Golden Eagles held the Trojans to a .173 hit percentage, and had five players with double-digit kills, led by Bruna Silva's 20.

ORU faces Austin Peay Saturday at 10 am CT, while No. 11 Dayton will be its opponent at 3 pm CT.
