The Frisco RoughRiders scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth to put away the Tulsa Drillers, 4-2 Wednesday night.
Tulsa had taken the lead in the top of the eighth inning, scoring two runs to take a 2-1 lead on a bases-loaded walk, and a fielder's choice RBI groundout.
Frisco only had five hits for the game, but took advantage of five free passes and a hit batter to put runners in a position to manufacture runs.
The RoughRiders took only three hits to score the three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, accumulating two walks and a wild pitch to move runners around the bases.
Wilmer Font got the win, even though he was also credited with a blown save. Josh Outman took the loss for Tulsa, despite a strong outing, and Ross Wolf worked the ninth for his sixth save of the year.
The two teams are back in action tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in Frisco.
