A Creek County man is back behind bars after Oregon authorities arrested him Wednesday in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 4-year-old girl in April.
The Creek County Sheriff's Office say the girl was assaulted in early April.
A boyfriend of the girl's mother was initially arrested but then released after DNA evidence cleared him.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said DNA evidence pointed to 27-year-old Patrick Misner.
Misner was arrested in Oregon on an unrelated charge in early July and released before Creek County could put a hold on him.
Misner was located this week and arrested again by Portland Police. He is being held in the Multnomah County jail in Oregon awaiting return to Oklahoma.
