Sand Springs police are looking for a suspect in the apparent armed robbery of a Drug Warehouse Wednesday afternoon.
The pharmacy at 651 East Charles Page Boulevard was robbed by a man seeking narcotics at about 3:34 p.m., according to Assistant Chief of Police Mike Carter.
The man gave a note to the clerk demanding a specific narcotic medication, Carter said in a news release. The man told the clerk he had a weapon but did not actually show one.
The suspect left the store after employees complied with his demands. Police believe he got into a black Mercury SUV and left in an unknown direction.
No one was injured, Carter said.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 6-feet tall and 180-200 pounds. He was 25 to 30 years old. He was dressed in gray coveralls, a long sleeve shirt, camo-colored gloves, and a gardening-style hat with a round brim.
He had a gray woman's scarf over his face, the assistant chief said.
