The artist with the number one-selling jazz album on iTunes stopped by Six in the Morning Wednesday and his 'gypsy jazz' took over the set.
French-born Stephane Wrembel is known world-wide and has written music for two of Woody Allen's highly-acclaimed movies, "Vicky Christina Barcelona" and "Midnight in Paris." He also performed at this year's Academy Awards.
Wrembel, a composer and guitarist, learned his craft among the gypsies at campsites in the French countryside.
His new album, Origins, is said to draw influences from blues to flamenco to rock.
Wrembel and his band will perform live Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Tulsa Jazz Hall of Fame. Tickets are $10 and $20 and can be purchased by calling 918-281-8609.
