A Cleveland, Okla., man is dead after his sport utility vehicle hit a driveway embankment, went airborne and rolled several times, troopers said.
Earnest Dale Sissom, 65, was traveling east on U.S. Highway 64, five miles south of downtown Cleveland, when his 1999 Ford Explorer left the roadway for an unknown reason and crashed into the embankment at 10:07 a.m. Saturday, the collision report said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sissom was wearing a seat belt, the report said.
Troopers said the cause of the crash is under investigation and the cause of death will be determined by the state medical examiner.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol was assisted by Cleveland Fire and Rescue and the Pawnee County Sheriff's office.
