Second Man Found Dead After Kaw Lake Boating Accident

Joseph Dean Shrader, 32, of Ponca City, was found and pronounced dead about 4.5 miles north of Coon Creek on Kaw Lake.

The body of an Oklahoma man, missing since his boat capsized Sunday night, was found Wednesday, authorities said.

Joseph Dean Shrader, 32, of Ponca City, was found and pronounced dead about 4.5 miles north of Coon Creek on Kaw Lake.

The Lake Patrol division of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol had been searching for Shrader since Sunday night.

Authorities said Shrader and two other men, Andrew Ernest Woodring and Andrew Carson Ancell, went out on Kaw Lake Sunday night to run their jug lines.

The boat started to fill with water and capsized.

All three men attempted to swim to shore.

Woodring, 19, from Kaw City, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ancell, 43, from Ponca City, was not injured.
