Tulsa Man Shot While Running Away From Robbers

A man was shot in the arm while running away from two men who tried to rob him at gunpoint outside a duplex in East Tulsa early Thursday.

Tulsa Police say it happened just before 12:30 a.m. near 21st and 129th East Avenue.

Officers say two men with their faces covered with their shirts walked up behind the victim to rob him.

The victim ran off and one of the robbers shot at him with a shotgun, striking him in the right arm.

Tulsa Police say one of the robbers took money from the victim's girlfriend then ran away.

EMSA treated the man for a minor wound at the scene.
