Some little princesses enjoyed tea and crumpets with a king and we were there for the special moment.
All of the girls who were in attendance have a unique type of hearing loss, and wear a special type of hearing aid called a Baha.
Tuesday's tea party gave the girls a chance to meet others their own age who also have Baha cochlear implants.
The Scholl Center, located in the 4400 block of South Harvard, hosted the get-together, and say the special hearing aids can change young lives.
"These children are not missing a beat," said Dr. Jacqueline Scholl, of the Scholl Center. "They're not going to repeat any grades because the parents have intervened early; we've got the devices on 'em."
Their special guest, "the King", is actually one of the experts behind the Baha.
