Car-Train Crash In Porter Sends Woman To Tulsa Hospital

Porter Police are investigating a car-train crash in their community Friday afternoon.

It happened just after noon.  Police say a car failed to stop at a crossing on First Street and was struck by a northbound Union Pacific freight train.

The driver of the car was flown by medical helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.

There is no word on her condition. The car was destroyed.

No one on the train was injured.
