Investigators in Wagoner County are searching for a gun believed to be used in a shooting earlier this week.
A diver is searching a creek in a rural area on 209th East Avenue. They're searching for a handgun they've been told was tossed into the creek just after midnight Wednesday.
A man was shot four times in the throat, arm and upper chest and left for dead. But investigators say he's expected to live.
The Wagoner County Sheriff says finding the gun will be one more piece of evidence in an already strong case.
"We have a pretty good case anyways, it's not totally critical, but it would shore up the case for us," Wagoner County Sheriff Bob Colbert said.
Deputies arrested Robert Watson near his home. His wife, Cathy, was also arrested as an accessory.
