Fire Causes Extensive Damage To Coweta Home

Firefighters are trying to determine the cause of a house fire in Coweta late Monday evening.  The fire was first reported just before midnight near the intersection of Birch and Fairland.

Two people in the home were able to escape uninjured.

The fire spread to two cars parked inside the home's garage.  Both were destroyed.

Coweta Fire estimates the damage to the home and contents to be around $150,000.
